How Does ShadowSense Work?

ShadowSense are long lasting highly pigmented eyeshadow that you apply as a creme and dries as a powder. ShadowSense comes in a variety of colors, textures, shimmers, and even matte shades to choose from. I’ll be sharing with you some of the most common asked questions about ShadowSense which is by far one of my favorite products SeneGence offers. I love that I can use it so many different ways without eyeshadow fall out, purchasing a million eyeshadow palettes and eyeshadows breaking.

what makes shadowsense different?

The long-lasting capabilities of ShadowSense with SenePlex® are set up via the SeneDerm® SkinCare System and MakeSense® Foundation with SenePlex. Both creamy SenseCosmetics® ShadowSense formulas are nourished with the same proprietary anti-aging formulation and advanced color technology as the MakeSense Foundation with SenePlex, and of course offer another layer of SenePlex to the very delicate eye area most prone to wrinkling. ShadowSense with SenePlex Cream to Powders are thicker than the consistency of MakeSense Foundation, and of course dry to a powder to leave a denser eye color expression.

Long story short they have skin care built in the eyeshadows which help reduce fine lines and wrinkles , increase moisture, increase collagen, increase skin elasticity, increase luminsity and decrease skin sagging. Need I say more????

how to apply shadowsense

My tip for applying shadowsense is first of all taking care of your skin. No matter what products you use you don’t want to have it laying on top of dead skin. So #1 have a good skin care routine. #2 I love using Candlelight Shadowsense as my base to give me a nice clean palette to work with. Candlelight is the perfect shade to blur out any imperfections, cover up veins and discloration.

ShadowSense should be applied to eyelids by gently blending with a blending eyeshadow brush. Depending on the look you are going for there will be several brushes you could use. You can also use your fingers to apply shadowsense elespecially with the glitters.

When applying shadowsense less is more. They are very pigmented and be layered so don’t feel like you have to apply it all at once. Shadowsense dries within 45 seconds or less so apply a layer and blend. If you feel like you need to add more color let it dry first then apply more.

Can you use shadowsense as blush?

Shadowsense is so versatile and can be used as blush. One of my favorite ways to add color to my cheeks is with shadowsense. The fun thing about shadowsense is you can mix it into your blushsense to create a lighter shade, darker shade, or add shimmer to it. Shadowsense used alone creates a bold pop of color and is thicker in texture than our blushsense. I love the look I get when I use a shimmery shadowsense color with other shadows or blush colors.

How to contour using shadowsense

 There are several colors you could use to contour with. Moca Java is a safe bet for lighter skin tones. Garnet, Rustic Brown, and the new Cafe Collection work for medium to deep skin tones. Simply put a few dots onto the area you would like to contour such as the hollows of your cheeks, nose, forehead, jawline and chin. Use a blending brush or sponge to blend upward and out.
